This summer, the Center for Educational Partnerships proudly hosted 10 transformative programs, engaging more than 650 students across the region and state. Among them, the Council of African American Parents (CAAP) Summer Program welcomed 29 high school students for a 4-day, 3-night residential experience at UCI. With 23 first-time participants and several returning students, the program offered a rich blend of academic exploration and community building. Students were inspired by campus leaders, participated in hands-on activities with the School of Medicine, and attended workshops led by the Schools of Engineering, Business, and Medicine. A highlight included a cooking challenge hosted by the ARC Team Up program, fostering teamwork and connection among participants.
