August 2025 – Anteaters make cultural and personal connections during Field Study in Mexico

Ten Anteaters were chosen to work from July 21 through 27 at Centro Fox, a presidential history center founded by former President of Mexico Vicente Fox in San Cristóbal, near his ranch in Guanajuato. It marked the third consecutive summer for the unique program created by the UC Irvine Career Services and Field Study Pipeline and the nonprofit Fundación Vamos Mexico housed at Centro Fox.

March 2025 – UC Irvine School of Education and SAUSD Leaders Explore Innovative School Models in San Diego

As part of the University-Assisted Community School (UACS) partnership between Monroe Elementary and UC Irvine’s School of Education, a team of 13 administrators from UCI’s School of Education Orange County Educational Advancement Network (OCEAN), Santa Ana Unified School District (SAUSD) and Monroe Elementary recently visited two innovative schools in San Diego. The group toured Design39Campus and The Preuss School UC San Diego to explore best practices in student-centered learning, curriculum design, and university-school collaboration.
